“Inglebrook”, a 1907 villa within 15 minutes of New Plymouth, mountain and bush walks, 8 golf courses and festival gardens. The airport is a 10 minute drive through picturesque Taranaki pastureland.
"Inglebrook" set in 3000 sq metres of beautiful mature gardens is located on State Highway 3/ Rata St in the charming junction village of Inglewood, and we offer you the ability to briefly return to an era when the pace of life was more within your control.
As you meander around Taranaki keep an eye out for our shy mountain, and return to dine at any number of quality restaurants within walking distance in Inglewood, or within 15 minutes drive.
“Inglebrook” is a great place to stay to enjoy a truly New Zealand experience, with easy access to WOMAD, Americarna, the Rhododendron Festival, Festival of the Arts, and many world class sporting and cultural events.
Your privacy is truly respected when you stay in our Garden Suite, with views of our “artists and writers” garden from your bedroom, and the room opens through double french doors onto a patio and outdoor dining. There is even a piano in the bedroom ! This beautifully appointed accommodation has off street parking and your own well lit access to come and go as you please. Your bedroom offers twin king single beds made up with high quality linens.
The large, well appointed bathroom has a separate bath, separate shower, toilet and pedestal wash basin. You can sit back and relax in your own cosy, private sitting room to watch TV (15 channels) and make yourself a refreshing cup of tea or coffee. If required there is provision to set up a baby cot in the sitting room or bedroom.
We will be delighted to serve you a full English breakfast in our formal dining room beside a cosy log fire. An evening dinner can also be arranged with prior 24 hour notice.
Our involvement with you while you are our guests is totally your choice. We have lived and worked internationally, and are keen travellers. We are more than happy to assist you in whatever way we can to ensure your visit is memorable and your return ranks high on your travel priorities.
